What should you charge for a sponsorship?
A defensible starting range for your next brand deal, from published industry CPM benchmarks. Pick your platform, enter your audience size, and anchor your next negotiation with a number instead of a guess.
How this estimate is calculated
The range starts from published industry CPM benchmarks (2024–25: Linqia, Influencer Marketing Hub, HubSpot): dollars per thousand followers for each platform and content format, adjusted for your niche, with a floor so small audiences never benchmark to zero. It deliberately does not use h@ndle’s private deal data: real contract history stays between you and your dashboard.
Common questions
Where do these numbers come from?
Published industry CPM benchmarks (2024-25: Linqia, Influencer Marketing Hub, HubSpot): dollars per thousand followers per platform and content format, adjusted for niche. The calculator does not use private deal data from h@ndle.
My engagement is way above average. Should I charge more?
Yes. Follower-based CPM is a starting anchor; strong engagement, a niche audience brands want, or a track record of converting are all reasons to price above the top of the range, and to say so in the pitch.
What about usage rights and exclusivity?
They are paid add-ons, not favors. Paid-media usage typically adds ~30%, whitelisting ~50%, and exclusivity roughly 5% per month of lockout. If a brand wants them, the rate goes up.
How do I stop brands from paying late, or not at all?
That is what h@ndle is for: the brand funds the deal before you start, the money is held by Stripe, and release pays out funds that are already there. No more net-60 chasing.
Is the calculator free?
Yes, no account needed. Creators on h@ndle additionally get rate suggestions calibrated by real funded deals as the marketplace grows, plus a bookable rate card brands can pay against instantly.
